Welcome to the Perintal and Infant Mental Health CKN Guide
Perinatal and infant mental health refers to the emotional and psychological wellbeing of women, their infants, partners and family, including the impact on the parent-infant relationship, commencing from preconception through pregnancy and up to 36 months postpartum.
This CKN Guide has been developed by Kim Guerrera (QLD Health Librarian) with Champion Sarah Davies-Roe (Service Development Leader, Cairns, QCPIMH) Dr Elisabeth Hoehn (Acting Director QCPIMH), Cate Rawlinson (Service Development Leader, Brisbane, QCPIMH) and Guide Administrator Beverley Burr (AO, QCPIMH).
